Kiley Grombacher is a founder and partner at Bradley/Grombacher, LLP, and she focuses much of her practice on pharmaceutical mass torts and defective product litigation. On August 27, 2021, Attorney Grombacher will share her skill and experience during a conference on Neutrogena sunscreen litigation.
The webinar is designed for attorneys and provides 1.5 credit hours of continuing legal education (CLE). During the event, “HarrisMartin’s Webinar Series: Neutrogena Sunscreen Litigation,” Attorney Grombacher will lead a session on consumer class action claims, focusing on how they apply to sunscreen lawsuits and other cases.
Other legal professionals will also lead sessions dedicated to sunscreen litigation, questions and answers, and expert opinions on benzene and cancer.
Recently, Neutrogena recalled multiple brands of aerosol sunscreen for benzene contamination. Benzene is a known human carcinogen (cancer-causing substance) that can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin. As a result, the everyday use of certain aerosol sunscreens could increase one’s risk of cancer, specifically leukemia, and other blood disorders.
Plaintiffs in Neutrogena sunscreen litigation may include people who frequently used the company’s products and suffered cancer diagnoses as a result. Because many plaintiffs may have suffered as a result of Neutrogena’s negligence, a class-action lawsuit or mass tort may be appropriate.
(A class-action lawsuit is a claim against 1 or more defendants brought forward by 2 or more plaintiffs with very similar complaints.)
The webinar will take place on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT via Adobe Connect. To attend, you will need to register on HarrisMartin’s website.
